CAMP TZS - Summer Camp

Themed-based Activities

Camp TZS is a great opportunity to encourage your child to try something new and build confidence by playing a new sport, creating new art, and connecting with new friends!  A week of our summer camp is your way to try out the school and see if our community would be a good fit for your family.

Camp Duration:

June 2, 2025 – July 18, 2025

Camp Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Healthy snacks
• Nutritious lunch
• Unlimited water

$250 per week, per child 

WEEKLY SUMMER CAMP SCHEDULE

Week 1: June 2–6

🌊 Under the Sea: Amazing Creatures
Dive into marine biology for little ones!
🔹 Explore God’s underwater creations through water play, ocean-themed crafts, hands-on sensory bins, and simple science experiments like “floating vs. sinking” with seashells.
🔹 STEAM Focus: Science, Art, Engineering

Week 2: June 9–13

💛 Love and Kindness
Let’s grow big hearts together!
🔹 Through read-alouds, empathy games, collaborative art, and friendship experiments (like mixing colors to show how we’re better together), we explore social-emotional intelligence and kindness.
🔹 STEAM Focus: Social-Emotional Learning, Art, Literacy, Math (kindness counting activities)

Week 3: June 16–20 (Closed June 19 for holiday)

🌍 Around the World
Travel the globe—no passport needed!
🔹 Discover God’s diverse world through songs, maps, cultural crafts, and tasty international snacks. Campers will "stamp" their pretend passports and build landmarks with blocks.
🔹 STEAM Focus: Geography, Engineering, Art, Music, Math (pattern flags & counting)

Week 4: June 23–27

🌱 Creation and Nature
Exploring God’s great outdoors!
🔹 Nature walks, seed planting, weather tracking, leaf rubbing, and bug hunts bring science to life. Campers will make their own mini nature journals and garden markers.
🔹 STEAM Focus: Science, Technology (magnifying glasses & nature tools), Art, Engineering (building with natural materials)

Week 5: June 30 – July 3 (No camp July 4)

Week 6: July 7–11

🎨 God’s Gift of Art & Music
Celebrate creativity and joyful noise!
🔹 Through painting, sculpture, dancing, poetry, and playing instruments, children will experience the wonder of God’s creativity and their own.
🔹 STEAM Focus: Art, Music, Engineering (building instruments), Technology (rhythm games)

Week 7: July 14–18

💫 Jesus the Healer: A Week of Miracles
Learning how love heals.
🔹 Children will hear stories of Jesus' miracles, create “healing prayer jars,” explore the senses (like touch and sight), and role-play acts of kindness and caregiving.
🔹 STEAM Focus: Science (our 5 senses), Art, Literacy, Social-Emotional Development
