MaKeshia Leslie is a proud Nashville, TN native, devoted mother, woman of faith, and passionate Montessori educator. She has been walking in her Montessori calling since 2017 and earned her AMS 3–6 Early Childhood Certification in 2023. MaKeshia believes children deserve to feel safe, loved, seen, and free to explore. As both a mother and educator, she brings love, intention, and joy into everything she does. As a proud brown-skinned Montessorian, she is passionate about representation and creating meaningful experiences for children and families. Outside of the classroom, MaKeshia enjoys spending time with her family, staying active through fitness, and hiking. She also loves karaoke, painting, and simply enjoying life. Above all, her faith in God, her family, and her love for children continue to inspire the work she does every day.
